Haunted Halloween house hunting through Valley Stream

An October stroll through Valley Stream yielded perhaps the most terrifying of results. Homes scattered across the village appeared to be haunted, or worse. Some were bathed in an eerie glow, others looked to have been the scene of massacres and still others had skeletal remains — many of which seem to have been reanimated — splayed across their properties.

Tis the month of all souls, and a time when the barrier between the worlds of the living and the dead break down, at least temporarily. The Herald investigated to see which homes were hardest hit by the horrifying phenomenon and it yielded some truly spooky results.
