Memorial students travel to NYC college fair

Members of Memorial Junior High School’s Leadership Development Club traveled to the Jacob Javits Center in Manhattan for the Big Apple College Fair on Oct. 25.
Guidance counselor Laura Mesa led the group around the fair to learn about different campuses, the college application process, financial aid requirements, scholarships, academic programs and campus life. The students were able to ask school representatives questions, get brochures and other informational materials, and were encouraged to follow up as they continue with their educations and decision-making processes.
