Valley Stream North High senior and star bowler, Tiffany Wong, has qualified for the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) state championship tournament for the second year in a row.

Wong finished fifth in the individual Nassau County bowling tournament on February 12, and is one of six girls who qualified for the Section 8 Nassau County Team. She is headed to Syracuse on March 12 and 13 to compete against bowlers from the state’s ten other athletic sections.

Wong is a six-year member of the Valley Stream Central High School District varsity bowling team, a two-time All-County bowler, and two-time Section 8 All Star. Additionally, Newsday named her a top 25 bowler on Long Island for the 2021-2022 preseason. “Wong has bowled a 215 high game and is seventh in average in Nassau with a 179.40 this season,” according to a report.
