Several cars were damaged in the Gibson area of Valley Stream late Thursday night or early Friday morning. According to Nassau County Police, six different vehicle owners reported broken windows on their cars Friday morning.

The cars were parked in lots on Dubois Avenue, Jadwin Place and Cochran Place, nearby Barrett Park and the Gibson train station. One the parking lots is for an apartment complex on Cochran. Personal property, including paperwork and a bank card, was stolen from one vehicle. A Nassau County Police spokeswoman said it is believed that all of the cases are related.

It is unknown what time the break-ins happened, but police say it was likely between 6 p.m. on Thursday and 7 a.m. on Friday. No arrests have been made and there are no suspects at this time. The investigation is continuing.
