Police seek Valley Stream bank robber

Nassau County Police are investigating a bank robbery in Valley Stream on May 11.

According to police, an unknown man entered the Roslyn Savings Bank at 75 N. Central Ave. at 11:30 a.m. and handed a note to the teller demanding cash. He received an undisclosed amount of money, stuffed it into a black bag, and fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5-foot-10 to 5-foot-11, 47 to 52 years old with a shaved head, no facial hair, light pale skin, dark sunglasses, blue jeans, black athletic jacket and black shoes. There were two customers and five employees in the bank at the time. No one was injured.
