NCPD: Queens woman abandons daughter at Green Acres Mall

An eight-month-old child was found in the Green Acres Mall parking lot unattended with the car running.

A Queen’s woman who police say left her eighth-month-old daughter in a car in the Green Acres Mall parking lot was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
A witness saw the child unattended in a parked car and called 911, according to Nassau County detectives. When police arrived they saw the eight-month-old girl in the back seat of the unlocked car while it was still running.
Officers called for an ambulance and the Nassau County Police Department Medic found the infant to be unharmed and in stable condition. After a quick investigation, officers determined Moesha Hamilton-Prince, 24, abandoned the child. The child was subsequently placed into the custody of a family member.
