Shots fired at Orchard Place home

Nassau County police are investigating several shots that were fired outside a home on Orchard Place in Valley Stream on Dec. 26.

A 20-year-old man was sleeping in the home’s living room when he was awakened by “numerous” gunshots at 6:50 a.m., according to police. One round broke a front window and another went through a kitchen window. Police found seven shell casings at the scene.

No injuries were reported.

Police ask that anyone with information call (800) 244-TIPS.
