Joshua Mayes, 14, of Elmont, has been missing since Tuesday afternoon, police said.

UPDATE: Missing Elmont teen found, police said.

A 14 year-old Elmont boy has been missing since Tuesday afternoon, police said.

According to the Missing Persons Squad, Joshua Mayes was last seen leaving his home on Hendrickson Avenue in Elmont at 2:17 p.m. on Tuesday.

Detectives ask anyone with information regarding Joshua's whereabouts to contact the Nassau County Police Department Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or call 911. All calls will remain anonymous.
