Seaford homecoming a success despite rain

Posted

Rain would not stop Seaford students from showing their school spirit.

Last Saturday, the Seaford School District hosted their homecoming parade despite rainy conditions. Students brought their ponchos, umbrellas and jackets, and marched proudly on Washington Avenue and Keily Drive with class banners in hand toward Seaford High School.

The Seaford Fire Department led the parade, and joining the students were Board of Education members, administrators, teachers, scouts and youth sports leagues. Crowds gathered to show their support for the students, also with umbrellas in hand.

It was truly a day for the Seaford Schools to show the strength of their pride.
