Snow closings in Wantagh and Seaford

Long Island is under a blizzard watch from midnight Saturday to 7 a.m. Sunday. Due to the impending snowstorm, which has now begun and is expected to drop 18-24 inches, there are several closures and cancellations in Wantagh and Seaford this weekend.

Temple B'Nai Torah in Wantagh is closed on Saturday, Jan. 23 and Sunday, Jan. 24. All activities and events, including Torah study, are canceled.

The Seaford, Wantagh and Levittown public libraries will be closed on Saturday, Jan. 23.

The Levittown School District has canceled all activities for Saturday, Jan. 23 and Sunday, Jan. 24.

The Wantagh School District has canceled all activities for Saturday, Jan. 23 and Sunday, Jan. 24. Students who were to take the SAT must reschedule.

The Seaford School District has canceled all activities for Saturday, Jan. 23 and Sunday, Jan. 24 including the SAT and all community use of buildings.

Cub Scout Pack 689 has canceled its Pinewood Derby on Jan. 23 at St. James Church in Seaford.

The LSW Sports winter baseball clinic has been canceled for Sunday, Jan. 24 at MacArthur High School. It has been rescheduled for Jan. 31.

The Town of Hempstead has canceled all senior enrichment activities and transportation through Monday, Jan. 25.
