While it was hardly a major storm, snow slowed traffic in Wantagh and Seaford during Friday morning's commute. Between 1 and 2 inches fell on the area to cap off a week defined by cold weather.
It was business as usual as schools and stores were open. Children will have to wait a little longer for that first snow day of the winter.
Drivers were taking it slow on the slick and slushy road. Plows and sanders were out, and the main roads were in better shape than local side streets.
