Mostly Cloudy Wantagh-Seaford schools using delayed opening Friday
Both schools will open two hours later than usual

Mother Nature has thrown a wrench into school plans.

As of 11:10 p.m. Thursday, both the Wantagh and Seaford School Districts are scheduled to be open with a two hour delay Friday.
Wantagh High School will open at 9:37 a.m.; Wantagh Middle School at 10:16 a.m and all three elementary schools at 11:15 a.m..
"All before school activities are cancelled and bus riders should arrive at their stops on this two hour delay," Superintendent Maureen Goldberg said in a statement. "But as was the case today, the unpredictability of overnight precipitation might result in a closing tomorrow."
