The Village of Malverne held its annual Menorah lighting ceremony on Dec. 22 at the Malverne train station. Rabbi Susan Elkodsi, spiritual leader of the Malverne Jewish Center, was joined by Mayor Keith Corbett and the village trustees to light the candle for the first night of the Jewish Festival of Lights, which began that day at sundown.
