Nassau County Museum of Art kicks off the holiday season with a performance by Rockville Centre’s Leggz Ltd. Dance – one of Long Island’s premier dance companies – on Sunday, Nov. 29, at 2 p.m. Professional dancers are joined by young dancers from throughout the region in this special program of excerpts from Act I and Act II of the holiday classic. Along the way we encounter Clara and her brother Fritz, adorable angels, fearsome soldiers, beautiful ballerinas, handsome cavaliers, and a Nutcracker who transforms Clara’s world into a truly magical place. See the Sugar Plum Fairy with her Cavalier, Drosselmeyer, the Soldier and Ballet Dolls, the Dew Drop Fairy with her Flowers, and much more. $50 ($45 members), $25 children 12 and under.
