Holiday hip hop magic show
The Malverne Wildcats' coaches, Taylor, Jenkins and Lockwood, invite area children to a Happy Holiday Magic Show featuring Uncle Majic, Hip Hop Magician on Friday, Dec. 10 at the Howard T. Herber Middle School in Malverne. There will be free giveaways, pictures, posters, a light show, music, hot dogs, hamburgers, popcorn and more. Merrick Theatre presents 'Annie'
For the holiday season, the Merrick Theatre & Center for the Arts, located at 2222 Hewlett Ave., will present the Tony Award-winning classical musical "Annie" through Jan. 2. Tickets for the shows, which will run on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:30 p.m., and on Sundays at 3 p.m., are $20. Students' and seniors' discount price is $16 on Fridays and Sundays.

Holiday house tour
Come and explore Malverne's most picturesque homes as The Malverne Civic Association presents the Malverne Holiday House Tour on Dec. 11 from 5 to 8 p.m. Tickets are $25. Good cheer and tidings of the season abound as homeowners in our quaint village invite you and yours inside their charming residences that have been lovingly decked with festive holiday décor. Aglow Lighthouse meeting
Hempstead Aglow Lighthouse invites you to join us for the Aglow meeting on Saturday, Dec. 11, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Trinity Hospitality Center, located at 275 Locust St. in West Hempstead. Come and hear our wonderful speaker, Beverly Caesar, wife of Pastor Rod Caesar, speak on exploring the world’s different faiths.
