The Jewish Community Center of West Hempstead and the Jewish Conservative Center of Southwest Nassau invited the entire community to attend the Second Annual Summer Israel Film Festival, which was held on Aug. 8, 9 and 10.
Six award-winning Israeli films were screened, one at 3 p.m. and another at 7:30 p.m. each day.
Rabbi Art Vernon introduced each film and lead a discussion following the screening.
