Lakeview shooting kills one man, injures two others

    A Hempstead man was shot to death at a house party in Lakeview on Saturday, Nassau County police reported.
    Officers found 25-year-old Bryan Coardes shot to death, and two other men wounded from gunshots, upon their arrival at a house near the intersection of Locust Court and Coolidge Avenue around 1:15 a.m. on June 12. Coardes was pronounced dead at the scene. The two wounded men were transported to an area hospital suffering from non-life threatening injuries.
    Police were called by neighbors reporting a large, loud party at the house. Officers responded to the scene after a second 911 call came in reporting that shots were fired at the same location.
