Tanglewood to host annual Spooky Fest

Posted

Creatures of all kinds will inhabit the woods, and ghosts and ghouls come out to play at Tanglewood Preserve on Oct. 28, 29 and 30, when the Center for Science Teaching and Learning will present its third annual Spooky Fest.

This yearly fundraiser is bigger than ever and includes a spooky walk in the preserve and a not-so spooky walk for youngsters, a live animal exhibit, arts and crafts and The Mystic Den, a new attraction that has many interesting people to amaze visitors. Hours are from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Admission for Spooky Fest is $10 for children and $5 for adults; which includes both walks, Halloween craft activities, The Amazing Animals exhibit and The Mystic Den. The exhibit is home to more than 30 animals, many of which are exotic. Goody-bags are available for the first 200 children each night. All proceeds go to support the CSTL, a charitable organization dedicated to science education.
