Malverne Mayor Tim Sullivan introduces Long Beach resident Dani Levenberg. Dani is with the NYC Dept of Education and a PE teacher at PS 360Q D. Marie M. Salt Academy of Excellence. Every year she presents veterans with thank you letters and pictures from her students. The Village of Malverne displays these in the vestibule to the court room in Village Hall.

The Village of Malverne’s annual Veterans Day ceremony was held Saturday, Nov. 11 with plenty of neighbors in attendance to honor those who served and those who are currently serving.
The Malverne Historical and Preservation Society held its annual Veterans Day breakfast, and the village-wide ceremony took place shortly after at the gazebo.
