West Hempstead Lions Club gives back

The West Hempstead Lions Club has kept themselves busy during the coronavirus outbreak. With many groups in need of donations and support, the Lions Club has made several contributions to organizations in the community.

The club donated $250 to the Interfaith Nutrition Network and another $250 to St. Thomas the Apostle’s food pantry. In addition, they provided groceries for two of West Hempstead’s veterans, and groceries for four senior citizens in the community.

The Lions Club, along with the Lakeview Fire Department, also hosted the Easter Character Parade last weekend.
