The students of the Howard T. Herber Middle School in Malverne and the West Hempstead Middle School held their annual winter concerts last week.
In Malverne, the fifth and sixth grades performed at 7 p.m. on Dec. 8 and their seventh- and eight-grade counterparts performed an hour later that same day in the middle school auditorium. In West Hempstead, the High School auditorium was packed on Dec. 9 with district faculty and staff, and parents and relatives of the 130 students who performed.
