The leaders of the Town of Hempstead Democratic party were hunkering down this evening in Baldwin while waiting for election numbers to trickle in.
Bob Young, President of the Bellmore-Merrick Democratic Club, told the Herald the location on Merrick Road was selected to highlight "the differences between what the Town promises and what it delivers."
