Highlights from Homecoming

Baldwin showed its Bruin pride this year at the Pep Rally and Homecoming on Oct. 21. The cheerleaders, step team and even some impromptu rapping made this year’s Pep Rally stand out.

The announcement of the Homecoming Court brought loud applause, and the seniors were all specially acknowledged. A huge number of Baldwin High School’s students came out to show their dedication, not only to the Football team, but to the other fall sports as well. This energy was obviously felt by the football players as they went on to defeat Port Washington 48-20 at the “Friday Night Lights” Homecoming game later that evening. Baldwin students, teachers, and residents alike were on hand cheering their team to victory.

Baldwin pride will be on display again next Saturday, Oct. 29, for Band Day with half-time performances showcasing the talent of the elementary, middle school and high school bands.

Go Bruins!
