Love was in the air last Sunday at Baldwin Public Library. People, especially children, do love cookies and other desserts, right?

Under the guidance of Kathy Giouvalakis, children decorated baked goods to transform the treats into Valentine’s Day cookie pops. There were a lot of heart-shaped red and pink cookies to show off as children and their parents got in the St. Valentine’s Day spirit before the holiday on Saturday.
