Hempstead Town Councilwoman Laura Ryder stopped by Steele Elementary School in Baldwin to pick up firefighter cards that were created by the students.

Laura Ryder stopped by Baldwin Fire Department Headquarters to drop off cards that Baldwin students created in appreciation for firefighters. Councilwoman Ryder was joined by Chief Michael Parise and department members Paul Yanantuono, Matt Peletier, Douglas Wiedmann, and Tom Brown.

The cards showed the students’ appreciation for the firefighters.
The cards were delivered to nearby fire departments, such as the Baldwin Fire Department.
