Overcast Police: Berkley Street kidnapping report “unfounded”

The Nassau County Police Department investigated the report of a kidnapping on Berkley Street in Baldwin on Nov. 11. According to the public information desk’s Officer Eloise Abdullah, a call came in at 7:11 a.m. and was placed by an unidentified “female who claimed she was abducted.” Officer Abdullah further stated that the Bureau of Special Operations went to search the home in question and found the report was “unfounded.” Abdullah said she had no record of anyone being arrested in relation to the incident.
