Relay for life nets nearly $50k

“The totals are in, and the number is huge!” began a statement from Katie Goepfrich, coordinator of the 2012 Baldwin Relay for Life. “This year’s 2012 Relay For Life at Baldwin High School raised nearly $50,000 in the fight against cancer! We couldn’t have done it without the support of participants like you and particularly without the support of our top fundraisers!”

Goepfrich’s statement went on to list the top 10 fundraisers for the year (see below) and also reminded participants that the effort has not completely closed. “Online donations can be made through August, so if you know anyone who wanted to donate to you but just didn’t get around to it, email them now!” Goepfrich said.
