Baldwin’s American Legion Post 246 appeared in strength to support an observance of Pearl Harbor Day held on Sunday Dec. 4. at the Pinelawn National Cemetery. The event is hosted annually by AMVETS Post 88, from Massapequa, to commemorate those who lost their lives on Dec. 7, 1941.
The AMVETS organization says their ceremony is “one of the ways in which AMVETS and veterans everywhere can perpetuate the memory of those who died in World War II.”
