The Merrick-Bellmore Community Concert Association has been a staple of the community since the early 1950s. It’s now winding down its 58th season, and it will begin the 2012-13 season, its 59th, in September. But if the organization is to make it to its 60th season, it may need a significant boost in attendance, said President Mark Manas.

The David Leonhardt Jazz Quintet, with vocalist Nancy Reed, and the Shelley Oliver Tap Dancers will take the stage at the Merrick-Bellmore Community Concert Association's final show of the 2011-2012 season, when the groups will perform together at 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, at Calhoun High School in North Merrick.
