The Valley Stream Forest U-16 Boys recently finished its 2009 season. They placed first in the Long Island Junior Soccer League U-16 Division 1, the 2009 Riders Cup MAPS Premier Division and the Needham Invitational MPS College Showcase U-15 Premier Division.

The boys also placed second in the 2009 East Meadow/Covanta Soccer Tournament U-16 Premier Division and the Long Island Junior Soccer League U-15 Division 1. The team was a semi-finalist in the Dix Hills Ultimate Spring Kick-off Tournament and had a strong perfomance at the Columbus Day Brooklyn Italian tournament against the No. 3 and No. 10 ranked teams in the country.

Players are Gregory Betty, Chris Brocher, Terrell Chapman, Stanley Egbuchulam, Marvin Eveillard, Thomas Ferro, John Hauschild, Dondre Irving, Andrew Laclaustra, Jeremy Leder, Kalief Lindo, Terence McGovern, Alejando Miguel, Stephane Pierre, Zachary Sathasivam, Daryl Shippy and Lucio Sorto-Vasquez. The team is led by coach Wilfred Sathasivam and assistant coaches Richard Badamo and Jairzinho Skair.
