Kiwanis installs its officers
The East Meadow Kiwanis Club installed its new president, Kevin Kamper, and other officers at its 63rd Annual Installation Dinner last Thursday, Oct. 9 at the Chateau Briand Catering Hall in Carle Place. more

The Kamper family, Kevin and Lori, and children Matthew and Melissa. Kevin was recently named Kiwanian of the Year, an annual award given by the East Meadow Kiwanis Club to a member who best exhibits the club’s mission of community dedication and volunteerism.

Advocacy runs deep in the Kamper family. But it was the events of Sept. 11, 2001 that rejuvenated their desire to help others, said Kevin Kamper, 49, who has lived in East Meadow with his wife Lori since 1995. more
