On Friday, July 22 at 11 a.m., Lynbrook firefighters, along with officials, family and friends will gather at the Lynbrook Post Office, which will be officially renamed and dedicated in honor of Navy Corpsman Jeffrey L. Wiener, a Lynbrook High School graduate and former Lynbrook volunteer firefighter who was killed in action on May 7, 2005 in an ambush and bombing in Haditha, Iraq, during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
