In planning lessons, the teachers follow a blueprint in which they have students asking supporting questions and providing detailed responses, or evidence, as their answers.

While Franklin Square elementary school students enjoyed their summer vacation, their teachers were busy preparing for the 2017-18 school year, and focused in particular on revising their social studies curriculum.
