The Peninsula Kiwanis Builders Club at Woodmere Middle School sold 575 carnations before Valentine’s Day and raised $400 for SIBSPlace, club adviser Dennis Brining said. The money was presented to Assistant Director Joanna Foremont. The students took flower orders Feb. 1 to 8, assembled the orders on Feb. 13 after school  and delivered the flowers the next morning during home room, Brining said. more
