Students of all ages got creative and decorated their mini bulldogs at Project Bulldog’s “Build-A-Bulldog” workshop last Friday. During the two hours at Hewlett High School, the youngsters used stickers, paints and markers to beautify their bulldogs.

I received word that my Lawrence High School Class of 1961 50th reunion will be in the fall. I’ve been reflecting about classmates and earlier times, but I don’t dwell on “the good old days.” I view life as a journey of new experiences while valuing older experiences and longtime friends.

"Boy Meets World” was a great show.
Seriously, I looked forward to it every week. ABC’s T.G.I.F. lineup on Friday nights was awesome.
“Boy Meets World” was my favorite of those Friday night shows. One character in particular was special to me — and to most people in my age group — and that was Mr. Feeny.
