Beginning on Oct. 6, 900 feet of old water main will be replaced with new eight-inch ductile iron water main along Pepperidge Road between Everit Avenue and Azure Place in Hewlett Harbor by New York American Water at a cost of $300,000, NYAW officials stated in a news release.
