I.P. Chamber holds Trick or Treat at businesses

Island Park vendors will have a special poster in their windows letting youngsters know they are welcome to trick or treat there on Oct. 24, following the fall festival at Lincoln Orens School.

Arranged for the second year by the Island Park Chamber of Commerce, ghosts and goblins can pick up a special trick or treat medal at the offices of Century 21 Scully Realty, or Glenn Ingoglia, attorney, on Long Beach Road in Island Park, then look for business that display the special poster throughout both the village and the town business areas.

The Girl Scouts contributed the artwork. The PTA helped distribution of the posters in the schools.

Some vendors are offering discount meals, others handing out holiday candy. Lists of participating businesses will be available when children get their medals.
