Island Park holds annual Fall Fest

The Island Park School District Recreation Department and the PTA held their annual Fall Family Fun Festival and Halloween Parade on Oct.22. Due to the inclement weather the festival was held inside Lincoln Orens School, but that did not dampen spirits.

Along with the indoor “costume parade” there was a bounce house, face painting and pumpkin decorating and goodies to eat. Keith Manginelli, recreation supervisor, arranged the event. The PTA and Recreation Department with support from the Island Park Civic Association, Island Park Chamber of Commerce, Island Park Business and residential Chamber, the Hall family and Theresa McSpedon helped pay for the event.
