At The Movies

Movies In The Park
With summer upon us, it’s time to relax outdoors with a movie on the big screen at a 21st century version of a drive-in movie. Eisenhower Park’s Lakeside Theatre becomes a movie theater on Thursdays once again during July and August, showing first-run movies at no cost to residents with a leisure pass. Bring the family, along with folding chairs (Lakeside Theatre does not have formal seating), to enjoy the whimsical “Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs.”
Thursday, July 8, dusk. Theatre is located near parking fields 6 and 6A, Eisenhower Park, East Meadow. (516) 572-0200 or the Special Events Line at (516)
572-0223.
