The Cat in the Hat comes to Island Park

The Cat and his close friends Thing One and Thing Two come to Island Park for two weekends. The Island Park Theatre Group, under the watchful eye of President John Cestaro, and the hard work of Producers Marti Renoud-DiPaola and Dana Feminella, Director Reneé Socci and Choreographer Sal Canepa has been in rehearsal since early September to present Seussical the Musical. The auditorium at the Lincoln Orens Middle School will come alive with Horton, Mayzie, Gertrude and all the Whos in Whoville, Nov. 6 and 13 at 8 p.m., Nov. 7 and 14 at 7 p.m. and Nov. 15 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $20, seniors and children under 14 $10, and they are available at the door.
