Veterans help veterans

Earlier this month, members of the American Legion Post 1029 Island Park were on-hand to donate a brand new 2011 Ford van to the Disabled American Veterans in Lynbrook. The van, which the Island Park American Legion purchased and outfitted, will be used to transport veterans to and from medical appointments.
