Yellow Labyrinths: The Many Worlds of Borges
Experience the works of acclaimed writer Jorge Luis Borges (1899-1986), in an original show, conceived and performed by Bob Spiotto. Get ready to enter a world of magic and wonder in this unique performance of exuberant storytelling, showcasing Borges’ many works.

Singing Strings
Hear renowned and Grammy-nominated violinist Anastasia Khitruk when she performs as part of a violin and piano duo this weekend, accompanied by pianist Sergei Babayan, presented by the Freeport Community Concert Association. The program includes selections from Beethoven, Schubert and Leon de St. Lubin. Saturday’s performance honors a 19th century European tradition known as the “Salon,” an intimate gathering utilizing a small space that allows for the full range of dynamics, which might be lost in a great hall.

Late Autumn Hike
Spend a crisp fall afternoon experiencing the sights and sounds of the season at Muttontown Preserve. Explore the many fascinating parts of the preserve on this guided hike: woodland trails, meadows, upland woods and wetlands, as well as examine the geology of the area.
