Island Park Mayor James Ruzicka estimated that Little Beach has eroded 75 percent over the last decade. Locals rally against TOH animal shelter

More than 40 local residents joined Hope for Hempstead, a local shelter-reform advocacy group, on June 30 to protest the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter in Wantagh.
