That is what the director of operations at Jones Beach State Park, Hank Leggio said about the beach and its continuing recovery, nearly two years after Hurricane Sandy. He went on to state that aside from needed repairs, most of the additions and renovations made to the renowned state park were planned long before the storm hit. more

Another West Face subsidiary, Liberty Natural Gas, LLC, is seeking approval to build a similar LNG terminal off the South Shore named Port Ambrose. Environmental groups fear that Port Ambrose could be used for LNG exports to Port Meridian.

In November 2004, Jordan Cove Energy Project, L.P. filed a notice of intent to build a liquefied natural gas import facility at the Oregon International Port of Coos Bay, and the application began winding through Oregon and federal agencies that had to approve it before building could begin, a process that continues today. more
