A new adoption season will kick off at the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter on Saturday, April 11 as the shelter hosts “Spring Fling: Spring Ahead to a New 4-Legged Love.” From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., all pet adoptions are free, and adopters will go home with a free photo with their new family member.

The holidays really are most enjoyable at home. Having lived in Japan for one year, it’s wonderful to be back in the Christmas spirit in New York.
