"Walk to Help the Sun Rise"

Sunrise Day Camp Walkathon
Christina Daly

The 6th annual walk at Sunrise Day Camp held on June 5th brought thousands of people to the campgrounds in Wheatley Heights. This years walk raised over $230,000 for children with cancer. Walkers and their families were treated to a bag of goodies after completing the walk, rides, games, prizes, food, and even a singer, Ryan Starr, signing autographs. All in all it was a good day for a great cause. Thank you to all who came down to show your support. Click here to view more photos from this event.
