It's very frustrating that families in the district don't realize (or don't care) that even though the budget is kept "under the cap" that it has increased EVERY YEAR and as a result we have had our school taxes increased EVERY YEAR. This occurs even in spite of the fact that the Board has indicated we have "retired debt". Shouldn't that mean that we're paying less? Still hiring new teachers, and building new rooms and buying tables and instruments and band uniforms and paying stage directors for theatrical productions and conversations about expanding the high school. All this and Waverly Park school barely have enough kids enrolled to fill the lunch room.

I don't get it.
