On Tuesday, I am voting for Gary Port to be my next supervisor. I am voting for Gary because as a lieutenant colonel in the United States Army, and a family man, he understands the words sacrifice, honor and loyalty. I am not asking for an elected leader to solve my problems, just one to be loyal to me, a resident of this town — not a political party boss.

Not only did we see your article in the Herald (“Gonzalez takes on Becker in Legislature,” Oct. 13-19), but also were watching the debate between Fran Becker and Anthony Gonzalez, and one of the statements Gonzalez delivered was that he had to be pushed into running — not a good sign.
