East Rockaway High School senior Danny Quadrino, 18, is living his dream as an actor on Broadway. He has made his debut on the Big White Way in the revival of the musical "Bye Bye Birdie." He just filled in for the starring role of "Hugo" in this week's matinee performance.

The Herald was there for North Shore Animal League America's 4th annual DogCatemy Celebrity Gala in the Cipriani Ballroom in Manhattan on Novemeber 5, presented by Purina ONE. Beautiful and famous two and four-legged celebrities walked the green carpet, smiling and barking for the cameras.

Now that the calendar has turned to November, it’s time for another ice extravaganza from the Disney folks to make its way to Nassau Coliseum, beginning Nov. 10, for 11 shows. This season’s production is billed as “one colossal party on ice,” with everyone’s favorite Disney friends.
