The sixth-grade Rockies were recently crowned the Merrick-North Merrick Little League World Series Champions. The team manager was Al Tepper. Coaches were Steve Weiner and Glenn Greenberg. Team members included Jason Gerand, Jordan Gerand, Dan Goetz, Andrew Greenberg, Anthony Luchs, Oscar Matos, Brian Needle, Tyler Parenti, Michael Pena, Shane Sanders, Noah Tepper, Ross Testaiuti, Austin Weiner. more
The Central Nassau Athletic Association U-11 softball tournament team won the titles for District 32 and Section 6 in the Williamsport Little League tournament. The team won two out of three games against Islip to clinch the Section 6 title. The girls on the team are all part of the East Meadow School District and attend W.T. Clarke Middle School. more
The Mustangs, a U-10 little league baseball team, came together 12 days before the start of this year’s Williamsport tournament, the premiere little league tournament in East Meadow.
